How to Apply

The Robert B. Lantz Foundation welcomes grant requests for projects and uses that are consistent with the mission of the Foundation to support the faith, health, welfare and quality of life for the people of the Northern Neck. Grants are accepted, evaluated and awarded according to the process described here.
The Robert B. Lantz Foundation Grant Application and Reporting Process

The grant period runs from September 1 to August 31. Grants can be for a single year, or multiple years.

Grant applications must be submitted using the official Grant Application Form which can be downloaded (here) or provided via email by contacting contact@robertblantzfoundation.org

To be considered, an application must be complete and be received by the Foundation on or before May 1st. Email completed application to: contact@robertblantzfoundation.org.

Each grant request is assessed by the Foundation’s Grant Committee. The Board of Directors makes the final determination based on the Committee’s recommendation.

Applicants are notified of the disposition of their application

A formal letter of approval is sent to each successful applicant. The letter includes any additional information specific to the grant, plus instructions on submitting a periodic or an annual report.

Payments for grants given in the normal grant period (September 1 to August 31), will be made by September 1.

Interim and final reports are required for grants given in the normal grant period. Interim reports will be due by May 15, and final reports are due by September 15.

Deadlines for payments and reporting for grants awarded outside of the normal grant period will be determined on an individual basis.
